What's my MPAN?

Posted on 9 September 2014 01:20 PM by willi1a

A Meter Point Administration Number, also known as an MPAN, is a 13 digit reference, used to uniquely identify every electricity supply point in the country.

We get lots of calls from customers asking for their MPAN. You need to know it when you’re connecting or disconnecting an electricity supply, altering an electricity supply and sometimes even changing electricity supplier.

We want to make it easier for our customers to find out their MPAN and give them more choices on how they can obtain this information. So, we’ve just launched a quick and easy online service to give you the information you need.

All you need to do is:
•         enter your house number or name
•         enter your postcode
•         confirm that you are the electricity bill payer
•         click on ‘Find my MPAN

You’ll then be given your MPAN.
