What are we doing?

We are committed to reducing the impact of our electricity network activities on the environment, and continuing to deliver environmental and sustainability improvements. Communicating our sustainability performance is an area we have been developing. Our most recent  2014 Sustainability Report has been rated A+ under the Global Reporting Initiative guidelines.

Our four areas of focus are:
• Community – We’ll play our part in society and support the communities we serve
• Environment – We'll minimise our impact on the environment
• Future proofing – We'll nurture innovation and demonstrate new technologies to support the transition to a low carbon economy
• Workforce – We'll develop a healthy, skilled and diverse workforce for today and tomorrow
