How we have responded to 18 January storm

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the power cuts during the recent bad weather experienced across East Anglia.


The impact of the wind and rain across our network was significant and extensive damage was caused to multiple sites in our area.  We prepared for this event by arranging hundreds of extra staff to assist with the safe restoration of supplies and keeping our customer updated.


I fully apologise that some of our customers were without power for much longer than we would have liked, however, our engineers worked tirelessly throughout the day and night to restore electricity supplies as quickly and as safely as possible.
