I started with the company in the same year England won the World Cup, as an apprentice electrical fitter, aged just 16. Back in my apprentice days, they said that if you stayed for the first five years, then you would stay for the rest. Well, that certainly turned out to be true in my case!

Scouts and Guides numbering in their thousands had camped overnight at Huntingdon racecourse, and come 10am when the sun came out, they started roaming the site in pairs and small groups hungry to be entertained!

Delivering our safety messages to our customers is what we are all about and there is no better way of doing that than by having a chat and giving them an opportunity to talk to us in person. As a team we attend and support numerous public safety events all over our patch.
