How much power do you need per property?

Most domestic houses with gas central heating need 70kVA (which is 23kW or 100amps) to operate.

Most domestic properties have this as standard. Running swimming pools, ground source heat pumps and electric heating could mean you need more.

To be entirely sure you are applying for the correct service, we recommend that you speak to a qualified electrician first who will be able to assess all the equipment you will be running and they’ll be able to determine how much power you need.
