Honouring Lifelong Commitment at UK Power Networks
UK Power Networks celebrated the long service of employees at the annual 40+ Club event.
Fifteen employees were welcomed into the prestigious 40+ Club at The Valley stadium, home of Charlton Athletic, in recognition of their exceptional long service.
UK Power Networks is proud to honour employees who have dedicated four decades or more to the organisation, with some achieving 50 and even 60 years of service.
The 40+ Club now includes over 300 members, each representing a legacy of commitment and contribution.
The celebration will feature an awards ceremony where every guest will be personally thanked by chief executive Basil Scarsella, receiving certificates and gifts in appreciation of their service.
More than 600 guests, including retirees too, have been invited to the event, with 332 attendees still actively working at the company.
This recognition reflects the organisation’s deep appreciation for its people and their enduring impact.
Basil Scarsella, chief executive, said: “I look forward to this event every year as a way to spend time with our longest-serving employees, who have served UK Power Networks and its legacy companies tirelessly for decades. I’m delighted that so many people choose to stay with us for their whole career and it is a pleasure to hold this special celebration to recognise their commitment to keeping the lights on for the millions of customers we serve.”
