Paul Kerr has today been announced as the new finance director for UK Power Networks
Paul Kerr has today been announced as the new finance director for UK Power Networks.
With a wealth of experience in the utilities sector, Paul brings a robust background in corporate financing strategy and planning. Recently working as the Group Chief Financial Officer at SES Water, he has been instrumental in steering the company’s financial direction and major transactions. Paul’s career includes significant roles at PwC in both the UK and San Francisco. His extensive experience spans across the UK utility and US oil and gas sectors.
UK Power Networks’ chief executive Basil Scarsella said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Paul as a valuable addition to our team.”
A keen squash player in his spare time, Paul is eager to embrace this new challenge after seven years with SES Water. He will soon join the electricity firm which delivers power to 8.5million homes and businesses across London, the East and South East. The firm is a top performer in the eyes of industry regulator Ofgem and is currently two years into a five-year funding period to 2028.
Paul said: “I am excited to join UK Power Networks and contribute to its mission of delivering safe and reliable electricity to millions of customers, meet the talented team and help drive financial excellence in this dynamic industry.”
