UK Power Networks celebrates its brightest stars
From underground cable jointers to online portal designers, employees who help keep the lights on have been recognised at UK Power Networks’ annual awards.
The ‘Living Our Values’ awards celebrate employees who deliver outstanding service for customers and communities across London, the South East and East of England.
Chief executive, Basil Scarsella, said: “Our Living Our Values Awards recognise the people and teams who go above and beyond every day to support our customers, communities and colleagues.
“This year’s winners have demonstrated outstanding commitment, teamwork and innovation, helping us deliver an excellent service to 8.5 million homes and businesses. Congratulations to all our nominees and especially our winners and thank you to our 6,500 employees and their families for the contribution they make to UK Power Networks every day.”
Other trophy collectors included communications experts, customer service heroes, operational teams, plus projects which delivered more power to the busy Nelson Street area of London and The Connections Lab, a digital tool to help customers identify the best locations where they can connect future developments to the grid.
