Sometimes when our engineers fix a fault, power comes back on in stages. Some homes may have power before others, but we’ll keep sending text messages until everyone has their power back on.
If you have selected the ‘For all large power cuts that affect me’ option then we will text you if you are part of a large power cut. If a power cut only affects you or a small amount of people then unfortunately we won’t be able to send you a text message. If you don’t get a text from us, then you can text ‘Power’ followed by your postcode to 80876 anytime of the day to keep updated.
