Does it cost to gain access to substation?

There may be a cost, this will depend on the reason for access and the duration. Please request and we can talk you through any costs. 

Can the power be turned off from the substation during the site visit?

Unfortunately no, substations power many homes and businesses so we want to minimise disruption. To deliver a service to our customers, we will always provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice before any planned power cut.
