Addition of MCS Data to LCT register

Linking external data held by MCS that captures all LCT's installed by MCS accredited Installers - ingesting it into UKPN's LCT register to provide better visibility of LCT's that UKPN weren't notified of.

Key deliverables

  • Integrate and cleanse MCS and related data into LCT register
  • Automate register entries and deduplication
  • Develop Smart Approvals logic using AI/ML

Target outcomes

  • Increased register completeness by identifying and adding missing LCT entries using proxy data
  • Enhanced stakeholder confidence through risk-averse data population strategies
  • Strategic alignment with industry bodies such as the ENA and DESNZ

  • Increased ability to identify and resolve voltage complaints due to LCT installs
  • Reduction in regulatory risk and improved compliance through complete and accurate LCT data
  • Increase in visibility of LCTs installed

Stakeholder Engagement

Engagement with multiple Teams calls with MCS to ensure data sharing agreement in place; with EDM team to discuss process and outcomes; and with EDM SMT Zac Decent.
